Each year, Frederick County Public Libraries' Summer Challenge brings together readers of all ages, inviting participants to build a healthy reading habit, explore our vibrant community, and win prizes. Getting started is a breeze - just sign up at your local branch or through Beanstack, then it's as easy as 1, 2, 3!

  1. Read for 20 days. Track your reading in the Beanstack app, online, or grab a gameboard at your local branch.
  2. Explore the many destinations we've partnered with this year to encourage you to get to know your community.
  3. Win prizes! Log your activity to earn tickets and enter drawings in Beanstack for a chance to win prizes.
