Move your body with expert-led prenatal exercise, and learn how you can get a free postpartum at-home nurse visit!
In each 1-hour-long class, you can:
- Learn poses to help with aches and pain
- Connect with a community that understands
- Meet our Frederick Health nurse and have your newborn questions answered
- Learn tools for childbirth and postpartum recovery
Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign in. Bring your own mat (if you don’t own a yoga mat, one can be provided).
This free event is made possible by Family Connects Frederick County.
During class, you’ll have the chance to learn more about Family Connects Frederick County, which provides anyone with a newborn in Frederick County with:
- A free nurse visit, regardless of insurance coverage
- Flexible scheduling—we work with your schedule!
- 12 weeks of access to an experienced nurse after the birth of your newborn
- At least one 1.5-2 hour visit at your home or an agreed-upon location
- Professional interpreter services for Deaf and non-English speaking family members
- Multilingual support, with nurses who may speak your native language
