Preparing for Life’s Biggest Transitions Pregnancy and preparing for early parenthood is a lot of work! Join us for a free workshop where you will learn important skills that will help you feel calm, confident, and connected as you handle one of life’s biggest transitions. In this 1.5-hour, hands-on, experiential class hosted in collaboration with Inner Evolution, you can expect to gain:  Calm: Practice new ways to relax, manage stress, and handle tough emotions so that your mind and body feels balanced and prepared for parenthood.  Confidence: Learn about pregnancy and postpartum mental health, what's normal, what’s not, and when to seek additional support.  Connection: Spend time in class with other expecting parents, make new friends, and learn how to treat yourself with care and kindness to help your family be happy and healthy. You will also learn about Family Connects Frederick County, a free service available to all Frederick County residents with a newborn which provides an at-home nurse visit when baby is about 3 weeks old.
