Join the Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue Services for this life-saving training.
In this introductory class, participants will learn how to perform hands-only chest compressions in the event of sudden cardiac arrest on teens and adults to continue the circulation of the remaining oxygenated blood through the body. No rescue breaths are performed in this practice. A certificate of completion will be provided if participants attend both the Hands-Only CPR Class and Stop the Bleed Class (scheduled on 5/13/26). Geared for teens and adults, ages 11 and older.
This class is for general educational purposes only and is considered a starting point to learning formal CPR; once participants complete this class, they will not be considered CPR certified and will not meet the requirements if they need a CPR certification for their job.
