Join Library Staff at the Thurmont Police Department's National Night Out. This event takes place at the Thurmont Police Department, 800 East Main Street in Thurmont. 

National Night Out is an annual event designed to strengthen relationships between neighbors and local law enforcement, fostering safer, more connected communities. It began in 1984 as “Night Out Against Crime” in Pennsylvania and became a national campaign under the National Association of Town Watch (NATW) in 1989. Millions of people across thousands of communities in the U.S., Canada, and on U.S. military bases participate each year, making it one of the largest crime-prevention and community engagement initiatives in the country.
