Safety Series: Stop the Bleed Training for Teens and Adults (Ages 11+)

Join the Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue Services for this life-saving training. 

A bleeding injury can happen anywhere. Life-threatening bleeding can happen in people injured in serious accidents or disasters. The number 1 cause of preventable death after injury is bleeding. That’s why we want to train you how to stop the bleed. In this class, participants will gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly and effectively to control bleeding. Geared for teens and adults ages 11 and older.

A certificate of completion will be provided if participants attend both the Hands-Only CPR Class (scheduled for 5/20/26) and Stop the Bleed Class.
