Salary: $24.81 - $42.17 Hourly
Job Type: Full-time Regular

 Non-exempt (compensatory and/or overtime eligible)full-time; 40 hours per week; Monday – Friday; 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. full-benefits

  

This technical administrative position will coordinate personnel functions within the Frederick County Public Libraries.  This position will serve as a liaison to County Human Resources, Risk Management, Payroll, and Procurement performing support duties in the areas of recruitment, selection & OnBoarding, leave requests, timesheet entry inquiries and performance management.  Supervision is received from the Personnel Supervisor.



NOTE: The upper pay range reflects possible wage rates for internal County transfers and promotions, which are calculated per County policy.  For external hires, offers are made at the base wage rate.

Librarian I salary =   $59,074.36-100,426.42 per year 
Library Specialist salary = $51,597.84- $87,716.32 per year

This professional position assists in managing Children's Services at the C. Burr Artz Public Library.  This position provides direct library service to the general public.  Supervision may be given to substitutes, shelvers, on-call employees and/or volunteers; direction may be given to department staff.  Supervision is received from the Branch Administrator, Assistant Branch Administrator or the Supervisor, Children's Services.
