Library Card Sign-Up Month: #ShowUsYourCard
September is National Library Card Sign-up Month and Frederick County Public Libraries (FCPL) is celebrating by inviting you to #ShowUsYourCard!
This September, you’ll see us at various events and locations across the community. Stop by and show us your library card, or sign up for one on the spot, and you'll receive a special prize.
We’re also encouraging FCPL fans to post selfies with their library cards. Why? Because a library card is a powerful tool in the hands of its user, and for many it holds a great deal of value and sentiment.
We want to hear your story – what does that card mean to you?
Share your photo and tell us why your card matters using the hashtags #ShowUsYourCard and #YouBelongHere and tag us @FredCoLibrary. We may feature your post in our Stories!
Your story could inspire someone else to visit the library for the first time and discover all the benefits a library card has to offer.
