Join us for an artist talk and showcase of the work of Jamie Moore in her exhibition A Still Life Style: Savoring the Beauty of Small Moments, currently displayed at the Thurmont Regional Library.

"In hectic modern times, I think it is important to occasionally pause and appreciate the beauty in everyday objects. Still Life is my favorite genre of visual art, and my style has been heavily influenced by the Old Masters of the Dutch Golden Age and Italian Renaissance. I also enjoy applying concepts from psychology to create photographs with strong visual impact and meaning. My goal is to craft images with aesthetic depth, inviting the viewer to slow down and linger while imparting warm feelings of peace, wellbeing, and belonging."
