Join us for a family friendly bird walk along the C&O Canal towpath, a busy flyway for migratory birds during September! We will be on the lookout for waterfowl and songbirds. Dress for the weather and bring binoculars if you wish to see the birds up close. The walk will begin at the Point of Rocks C&O Canal, Milepost 48.2, located at 3703 Canal St., Point of Rocks, MD 21777. Parking is available near the boat ramp. We will meet at the restrooms. Maryland Master Naturalist, Barb Kemerer of Bird City Brunswick, will lead the walk.
