Biography: Orion Zangara is an illustrator and comic book artist based in the Washington, DC area. He graduated from The Joe Kubert School, an art institution specializing in sequential art, founded by his grandfather, legendary comic book artist Joe Kubert. Kubert co-created the character SGT. ROCK for DC Comics. Orion illustrated a horror Christmas anthology titled Silent Nightmares, edited by Michael Bailey and Chuck Palahniuk (the author of Fight Club) for Saga Press, an imprint of Simon & Schueter, for a Fall 2026 release. He previously illustrated The Stone Man Mysteries, a young adult horror mystery graphic novel trilogy co-written by New York Times best-selling author Jane Yolen and Adam Stemple.
