Join us as we celebrate National Shelter Pet Day and learn all about the amazing animals waiting for their forever homes. Representatives from Animal Control and the Humane Society will share what they do to help animals in our community, how shelters care for pets, and ways kids and families can make a difference.
Through hands-on learning, stories, and conversation, we'll discover what it takes to care for our furry friends and why every pet deserves a safe and loving home. Come explore, ask questions, and celebrate our community's four-legged friends!
Participate in a variety of experiences related to science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. This program is designed for children in grades K-5.
