Thurmont Center for Regional Agricultural History

The Thurmont Center for Agricultural History holds non-circulating materials that reveal the rich, agricultural heritage of Frederick County and the surrounding area, as well as resources unique to the settlement of Northern Frederick County, culture, and history. Examples of materials that tell the history of Frederick’s farming legacy include books, photographs, reports, and awards. Many of these items are rare, with a large collection considered original and irreplaceable. The center is open for use by patrons; however, it is suggested you call the library in advance, if you should require assistance in your research.
