Is your curious toddler transitioning from baby to child? Transition to Twos nurtures this exciting time in your child’s development through books, movement, music and rhymes. We’ll begin learning to play with others, wait turns, and listen to stories, as well as dance, sing, laugh and have fun! This storytime is designed specifically for caregivers and children 18 months to 30 months. Registration is available two weeks before the monthly program series begins.

Let’s explore the Moon! In this hands-on program we will learn how the moon was formed, how big it is and what it does for us.

In the final session of the Moon program we will learn why the moon looks like it does, how the craters were formed and why we have not visited the moon again.

Project Runway Orientation: Doctor Who Challenge

Create your very own creature from the Doctor Who Universe! Rules for the design challenge will be released via email at the end September. Attend the orientation, pick up your materials and start brainstorming. Design your own alien, monster or otherworldly creature using found materials and showcase your creation at the runway show on October 18!

Poketown Gym! – A Pokemon Trading Card League for all ages!

The Poketown Gym, Frederick County's official Pokemon League, provides a place for you to get together with other fans of Pokemon to have some fun. Using your own cards, you can play, trade, and earn cool prizes, all for free!

Even if you are just a beginner, at league you can learn all the rules of the game. Don’t have any Pokemon cards? No worries, we'll have some starter decks on hand to get you going! Joining a league is the best way to hone your skills to compete in bigger Pokemon tournaments where players win great prizes like cards, medals, and even scholarships!

I HEART CLUB

Just Design It: STEM design

Update: This program series will begin 9/30 instead of 9/23. Plan to attend 9/30, 10/7 and 10/14.

What makes a good design? How do you create the next great idea or product? Come find out as we use the design process to create our own original products. We will ideate and sketch, build models and test them, and finally 3D print our final designs! Registrants must attend all three sessions. Ages 10-13.
