Little Gym: Serious Fun

Little Gym of Frederick will guide your child through a movement based class, incorporating directive music, yoga poses, gymnastics stretches, and the use of small equipment such as rhythm sticks and hula hoops. Get ready to move! For ages 3-8. Registration required.

Learn to Play Magic The Gathering with Comics to Astonish!

Join the experts from Comics to Astonish in Mt Airy to learn to play Magic the Gathering. In this three-program series, participants can practice playing on July 1 and 22 (if you have cards, feel free to bring them but they're not required to participate). On July 29, everyone can enjoy a Magic the Gathering tournament (your own cards required). This is a program for middle and high school aged students.

Hero Meetup: Kreimer's Karate

Martial artist Adam Kreimer teaches students each week how to be physically fit and defend themselves, all while building self esteem and self confidence. Enjoy this introductory class at Kreimer’s Karate to see the hero inside your child grow. For grades K-5.

Program meets at Kreimer’s Karate, located at 1460-C West Patrick St., Frederick, MD 21702 at 1 p.m. Students should wear comfortable clothing. Registration required.

Canceled - will be rescheduled. Teens 12-18 years of age, come join Ms. Alison for a playful yoga practice. We will challenge our bodies and minds, incorporating poses, group and partner activities, meditation and breath work. Required permission form for teens 18 and under available at the Information Desk.

Once Upon a Thyme Storytime at the Urbana Library Farmer’s Market

Fresh, handpicked stories and songs will be shared under the open sky in our beautiful rose garden adjacent to the Urbana Library Farmer’s Market. Grab a bite at the market and then settle in for some wholesome storytime fun for the entire family!
