Habla Espanol? A Special Storytime!

Take advantage of your child's natural language learning abilities: bring him or her to this special storytime in Spanish presented by Cynthia Fraga-Canadas from Mount St. Mary's University. Sing songs, listen to stories, and introduce your child to another language! Ages 2-5, with an adult.

Friday Movies: The True Story of the Three Little Pigs

Did the story of the three little pigs ever seem slightly biased to you? All that huffing and puffing, could one wolf really be so unequivocally evil? Finally, we get to hear the rest of the story, straight from the wolf's mouth. As Alexander T. Wolf explains it, the whole Big Bad Wolf thing was just a big misunderstanding. Bring a blanket and find out the real story.

Transition to Twos

Is your curious toddler transitioning from baby to child? Transition to Twos nurtures this exciting time in your child’s development through books, movement, music and rhymes. We’ll begin learning to play with others, wait turns, and listen to stories, as well as dance, sing, laugh and have fun! This storytime is designed specifically for caregivers and children 18 months to 30 months. Registration is available two weeks before the monthly program series begins.

My First Book Club

Join us every month as we read and explore our favorite picture books through crafts, songs, and activities! You are welcome to read the selection to your child before our book club meets, but it is not required. Ages 3-5.

R.E.A.D. with Wags for Hope

Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a specially trained "listening" animal! The Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) program works to improve children's reading and communication skills by providing registered therapy animals who volunteer with their owner/handler (as a team)to meet with and listen to children read. *Allergy Alert! The dogs and cats are live animals.*
