Pizza Your Homework

The library will help you work through that pile of essays and math assignments with the ultimate in brain food - pizza! Transition to Twos

Is your curious toddler transitioning from baby to child? Transition to Twos nurtures this exciting time in your child’s development through books, movement, music and rhymes. We’ll begin learning to play with others, wait turns, and listen to stories, as well as dance, sing, laugh and have fun! This storytime is designed specifically for caregivers and children 18 months to 30 months. Registration is available two weeks before the monthly program series begins.

Frederick County Infants & Toddlers Program Playgroup (ages birth-36 mos)

Job Seekers Success Workshop with the Maryland Workforce Exchange

A brief demonstration navigating the Workforce Exchange site is included. This workshop is a pilot outreach program from MD-DLLR, Frederick County Workforce and Frederick County Public Libraries to assist job seekers.

Poketown Gym! – A Pokemon Trading Card League for all ages!

R.E.A.D. ® with Wags for Hope

Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a specially trained "listening" animal! The Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) program works to improve children's reading and communication skills by providing registered therapy animals who volunteer with their owner/handler (as a team)to meet with and listen to children read.
