2014 Frederick County Spelling Bee.

Once again, the Frederick County Spelling Bee is going national! The winner of the 2014 Frederick County Spelling Bee, to be held at the Jack B. Kussmaul (JBK) Theater at Frederick Community College on March 15th at 1:30pm (snow date March 22nd), will continue on his or her quest for spelling glory at the nationally televised 2014 Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, DC.

On March 15th, students from 36 public, private, and home schools will compete at the 7th Frederick County Spelling Bee. The winner will represent Frederick County at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, DC, from May 26th through June 1st. Thanks to our generous sponsors, the winner will receive lodging and spending money to help defray trip expenses.
