Once weekly lunch for children of any age, followed by a literacy activity. Catriona, the Fairy Godmother, conducts a 45 minute program of Peter Pan. Thirty randomly selected children can be costumed to act out the story with the help of audience participation as the Fairy Godmother tells the story and whispers things for the children to say and do. Photography Basics for Kids

Grab your camera and your parents and come learn how to take great pictures! The Frederick Camera Clique is holding a free class on camera basics and composition. Come shoot with us along Carroll Creek. All camera types welcome, except cell phone cameras. If you have a digital camera, the Clique will print 2 copies of your best picture. You will get to take one copy home with you and the other copy will hang in the library for all to see for a month! All students must supply their own camera and be escorted by an adult. For ages 8-12. Maximum attendance is 20 kids.
