Rockin’ and Reading with Leonardo

It's a live Rock n’ Roll show at the library when Leonardo strums into town! Dig Into Reading this summer as Leonardo helps the audience unearth their hidden talents and discover that the library is where the treasure is buried. Get ready to sing, dance and "jam" with Leonardo. Leonardo is a Parents' Choice Award winning family musician writing and performing songs that entertain, educate and empower audiences of all ages and abilities. Rita's Italian Ice served following the concert.

Babies With Books

Storyland: A Sensory Storytime for Little Ones

Babies With Books: Birth to Twenty-Four Months

Learning to read begins BEFORE your child starts school - as a matter of fact, it begins at birth! Delight and stimulate your baby with songs, a story and activities. Get to know other families an help your baby develop listening and language skills. Tickets will be available on the day of the program for the first 15 parent/child pairs. This program is limited, so come early for your ticket.

Catriona's Castle

Catriona, the Fairy Godmother, conducts a 45 minute program of Peter Pan. Thirty randomly selected children can be costumed to act out the story with the help of audience participation as the Fairy Godmother tells the story and whispers things for the children to say and do. Best for ages 2-12 with an adult.

Starlight Family Storytime

Bring the whole family for an evening of storytime fun. We’ll read, move, and rhyme with a different theme each week. Nurture a love of reading through books, music, activities, and Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) elements. Almost bedtime? Feel free to wear your pajamas.
