LEGO® Movie Maker Studio: Make Your Own Stop-Motion LEGO® Movies!

Have you ever wanted to make your own movie? B.Y.O.D (Bring Your Own Device) to our LEGO® Movie Maker Studio and create amazing films using our huge collection of LEGO® minifigs, bricks, and more! Using the FREE LEGO® Movie Maker app (compatible with iOS 5.0 or later on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch), or PicPac (compatible with Android), we'll bring everyday objects to life on the big screen!

MinecraftEDU Meetup

Symphony Storytime with Frederick Symphony Orchestra!

Children and their parents experience a live musical collaboration between the library reader and a Frederick Symphony Orchestra musician during this 30 minute storytime! Musicians will play short selections, talk a little about their instrument, answer questions, and, after the stories are read aloud, audience members can take a closer peek at an instrument petting zoo provided by the music specialty store Music & Arts! This program is best appreciated by children ages 2-6 and their caregivers, but is open to all ages

Around the World

Travel around the world with your library. In 6 weekly sessions, learn about cultures from around the world. Each meeting includes an activity and craft inspired by the culture of the week. This program is designed for homeschooled children, but is open to all children. Recommended for ages 6-12. Registration is required. Register for all 6 weeks of the series.
