Babies With Books: Birth to Twenty-Four Months

Learning to read begins BEFORE your child starts school - as a matter of fact, it begins at birth! Delight and stimulate your baby with songs, a story and activities. Get to know other families an help your baby develop listening and language skills. Tickets will be available on the day of the program for the first 15 parent/child pairs. This program is limited, so come early for your ticket.

The Thurmont Regional Library will be hosting a Community Volunteer Fair at the library on Thursday, October 2 from 4-6:30. Interested volunteering locally? Just drop in to the fair to find your perfect volunteer opportunity.

Pizza Your Homework

Does homework seem to pile up when you're not looking? Do you get overwhelmed and not know where to start? Or is it just simply boring? The library will help you work through that pile of essays and math assignments with the ultimate in brain food - pizza! Join us every Thursday night for a pizza party and where a librarian will be on hand to help you get your best out of the worst - homework.
