The Thurmont Regional Library will be hosting a Community Volunteer Fair at the library on Thursday, October 2 from 4-6:30. Interested volunteering locally? Just drop in to the fair to find your perfect volunteer opportunity.

Local non-profit organizations invited to participate and should call 301-600-7212 to register.

At the fair we will be:

• Providing information to those seeking volunteer opportunities in the Northern Frederick County area.

Read to a Dog Friend!

Wags For Hope is here for a special visit. Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a specially trained "listening" dog and its owner/trainer! All reading levels welcome.

*Allergy Alert! The dogs are live animals.*

WAGS for Hope comes to the Thurmont Library on the 4th Saturday of every month at 11am.

Owls in Art, Owls in Nature

Love owls? Join us for a special program today. First, Cunningham Falls State Park will bring some real, live owls to the library and will share information about them--where they live, what they do, what they eat, and more. Next, a local artist will help teach you how to draw an owl using a live model. Space is limited, so register today!
