You'll learn about planning your trip, prepping your bike, essential equipment, and basic bike repairs and safety. Bike camping doesn't have to be high tech to be an amazing experience.

Grab your camera and your parents and come learn how to take great pictures! The Frederick Camera Clique is holding a free class on camera basics and composition. Come shoot with us along Carroll Creek. All camera types welcome, except cell phone cameras. If you have a digital camera, the Clique will print 2 copies of your best picture. You will get to take one copy home with you and the other copy will hang in the library for all to see for a month! All students must supply their own camera and be escorted by an adult. For ages 8-12. Maximum attendance is 20 kids.
LEGO® NXT robots feature a friendly code that tweens can understand. Join members of the RoboRangers 4-H Club as they work in small groups with participants to program a robot to run a specific mission. This STEM program is for children going into 4th and 5th grades. Registration required.
Little Gym of Frederick will guide your child through a movement based class, incorporating directive music, yoga poses, gymnastics stretches, and the use of small equipment such as rhythm sticks and hula hoops. Get ready to move! For ages 3-8. Registration required.
A representative from the Frederick County Animal Control and Pet Adoption Center on Rosemont Avenue will present tips and checklists parents can use to evaluate the choices of pet, sources for animals, and pet supplies and trainers. Allergy alert! Live animals may be included in the demonstration.
Presented by the Maryland Wind Ensemble, this program invites children to imagine and discover stories being brought to life through music. This program is best appreciated by children ages 5-12 and their caregivers, but is open to all ages.
