Petite Playgroup at the Library!

Enjoy an hour of independent play during which you and your child can socialize with other parents, caregivers and children! Each playgroup will start with 15 minutes of stories, rhymes and songs led by your friendly children's librarian. The library will provide the space and a variety of educational toys to explore and share! For ages 0-3.

Babies With Books: Birth to Twenty-Four Months

Get to know other families an help your baby develop listening and language skills. Tickets will be available on the day of the program for the first 15 parent/child pairs. This program is limited, so come early for your ticket.

Knit Wits

Knit Wits is open to knitters, crocheters, and crafters of all ages. Tweens and teens can join with their parents, aunts, grandmothers, and friends to learn knitting and share their projects, knowledge, enthusiasm, and creativity.

Baltimore Checkerspot Butterflies Craft & Program

Did you know that the Baltimore Checkerspot is Maryland's state butterfly? Why are their numbers decreasing and what can we do to help? Learn all about this Maryland treasure from a Girl Scout earning her Gold Award and create a butterfly craft to take home. Ages 6-11, with an adult.

Summer Activities Fair Open House

Looking for something fun to do this summer? Fair will be held from 4 - 6 and will give families an opportunity to visit informational tables hosted by local organizations and businesses offering fun summer activities for children under age 18. Summer camps, sports activties, theater groups and more will be represented. This fair is for information only - there's no pressure to sign up for anything. Interested in hosting a table?
