Every Hero Has a Comic - Understand & Improve Your Comic Book Collection

Farming for Life @ Hargett Farm

We will meet up at Hargett Farm (park at 649 Himes Ave.)Jump in and get your hands dirty at Seed of Life Nurseries' farm to learn about running a CSA that also provides fresh produce to low income families in Frederick. We will all get a chance to help plant, harvest, or work on whatever the farm needs that day! Wear clothes that you don't mind farming in and a water bottle. We'll be working out under summer skies.

The PAWS to Read program improves children's reading and communication skills by employing a powerful method: reading to a dog. But not just any dog. PAWS to Read dogs are registered therapy animals who volunteer with their owner/handlers as a team, going to schools, libraries and many other settings as reading companions for children.
