Little Gym: Serious Fun

Little Gym of Frederick will guide your child through a movement based class, incorporating directive music, yoga poses, gymnastics stretches, and the use of small equipment such as rhythm sticks and hula hoops. Get ready to move! For ages 3-8. Registration required.

Superhero Build Challenge

Calling all LEGO® fans! Batman needs your help to build a model of Gotham City and he has one special request: we need to engineer and build a new Superhero Watch Tower to put in the center of the city. Take the Superhero Tower Challenge and see if your skyscraper measures up! Ages 5-8. Registration required.

Frederick County Trivia Quiz

How well do you know your Frederick County history? Join the Historical Society of Frederick County and FCPL for a quiz on Frederick County trivia and history.

Play solo or sign up as a team with up to 4 members. Sign ups begin at 2:30pm and the quiz begins at 3:00pm.

Please register each person on your team separately at a library information desk or through the fcpl.org calendar of events. Please include your name in the "notes" field.

Teen Yoga

Age Group: 
Teens 12-18 years of age, come join Ms. Alison for a playful yoga practice. We will challenge our bodies and minds, incorporating poses, group and partner activities, meditation and breath work.

Yoga for teens introduces concepts and techniques to help this age group discover new coping skills, encouraging peace and balance. Through yoga they can improve concentration, flexibility, and most importantly, find self empowerment.
