Ahoy Mateys! Interested in pirates and princesses? Ever wonder where shipwrecks can be found? Do archaeologists really find buried treasure? Join us to find out in our Underwater Archaeology Activity for kids. During this half hour, fun, science and skills-based lesson and activity for ages 6-11, kids will learn the answers to the questions: What is Archaeology? What is culture? What types of evidence do archaeologists use? What peoples and cultures do archaeologists study around the world and through time? What are the goals of archaeology? What tools do archaeologists use to find sites?

We're celebrating adventures with Dora & Diego at the library! Dress up in your favorite adventure gear or Dora/Diego costume and visit us for plenty of fun, including a scavenger hunt. Join us for a Dora & Diego Dance Party at 2:30 pm.

Sid the Science Kid: Gizmos and Gadgets Movie on the Big Screen
