GSK Science in the Summer™: Chemistry Level I

Age Group: 
GSK Science in the Summer™ will introduce students to Chemistry through interesting investigations that will allow them to explore physical and chemical changes, learn about "matter," make crystals, and determine if liquids are acids, bases, or neutrals. The four-hour program is held over two days. This is a free and fun experiment-oriented course taught by certified teachers to 15 students entering second and third grades. REGISTRATION REQUIRED. PLEASE VISIT THE BRUNSWICK LIBRARY TO REGISTER.

Come meet the EmPOWER Rangers!

The EmPOWER Rangers each represent a form of energy we get our electricity from in Maryland. During this presentation you will meet all of the EmPOWER Rangers and learn about their energy sources. Parents will also learn about the EmPOWER Maryland program which can reduce energy in the home and keep money in your pockets!
