Early literacy begins with you! Help your preschooler develop the five early literacy practices that every child needs to succeed. Nurture a love of reading through books, music, activities, and Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) elements.

Join us this summer for a special Maker Space STEM Club. In this club we will explore the STEM concept, making creative, innovative and fun projects for you to take home.

Join Annmarie Creamer from Frederick County Department of Solid Waste Management for a hands-on composting workshop for kids and their families. For ages 5 & up with an adult, registration required.

The science of archaeology includes the study of people's trash! Get your hands dirty searching for artifacts "excavated" from a dig site!

Join us for an afternoon of LEGO® and Mega Blok fun! Build tall buildings, create mysterious scenes and have endless amount of STEM fun with LEGO® bricks at the library! Best for ages 2 and up with an adult.
