Join us for the culmination of the Through the Lens: Framing a Sense of Hope project held in conjunction with the One Maryland One Book, The Distance Between Us. This evenings event will feature a gallery display of photographs from the project depicting the participants sense of their community, and the hidden, unusual and undiscovered sights within it - through a lens.
Meet socially one hour a month at the library and explore American English in a new and unexpected way sharing common experiences that new language learners encounter living in America today. This hands-on approach will include emphasis on any native languages that attend.
Family stories are our oral history. Listen and share what makes your family unique. We're going to learn how to listen to family stories for clues to our families past than practice sharing them for others to hear.
