Early literacy begins with you! Help your preschooler develop the five early literacy practices that every child needs to succeed. Nurture a love of reading through books, music, activities, and Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) elements.
Is your curious toddler transitioning from baby to child? Transition to Twos nurtures this exciting time in your child's development through books, movement, music and rhymes. We'll begin learning to play with others, wait turns, and listen to stories, as well as dance, sing, laugh and have fun! This storytime is designed specifically for caregivers and children 18 months to 30 months.
Learning to read begins BEFORE your child starts school - as a matter of fact, it begins at birth! Delight and stimulate your baby with songs, a story and activities. Get to know other families and help your baby develop listening and language skills.
Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a specially trained "listening" animal! The Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) program works to improve children's reading and communication skills by providing registered therapy animals who volunteer with their owner/handler (as a team)to meet with and listen to children read.
*Allergy Alert! The dogs and cats are live animals.*
