STEM Curiosity Academy

Children entering Kindergarten in fall 2015 are invited to apply for the library’s very own STEM Curiosity Academy! Race balloons, learn about circuits, build structures, make “flubber,” and much more in this exciting 10-day series. Registration required. Applications will be accepted from this page beginning November 1 and do not guarantee acceptance to the program. You must be able to attend all 10 sessions to participate.

R.E.A.D. ® with Wags for Hope

Improve your reading skills and make a new friend by reading aloud to a specially trained "listening" animal! The Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) program works to improve children's reading and communication skills by providing registered therapy animals who volunteer with their owner/handler (as a team)to meet with and listen to children read.

Math for Bookworms

Have you ever wondered about the world of math concepts? Don’t let them frighten you. Algebra may be a mystery but not when we explore it using the simple formulas in David Adler’s book Mystery Math: A First Book of Algebra. All materials for program will be provided during the session. Ages 7-11. Registration required.
