The Navy Band Saxophone Quartet features 1st Ccass musicians on saxophones. This group plays music in many different styles, ranging from standard concert saxophone quartet tunes to contemporary and jazz. They have played all over the world, and are stopping by the Thurmont Library to share their music with us.
Kenny Ray Horton is an accomplished singer/songwriter/entertainer who plays originals and classic covers. He's a gold record awarded singer/songwriter who honed his craft in Nashville. Kenny knows how to keep an audience entertained, his years of entertaining and songwriting have made him a seasoned musician that music lovers and musicians alike love to be entertained by.
The Bumper Jacksons are a big, fun, music party. Their traditional jazz and pre-war country repertoire paints America's story from New Orleans streets to Appalachian hollers. Unafraid to scrap together new sounds from forgotten 78's, the Bumper Jacksons boldly and elegantly balance paying homage to the traditions while fashioning their own unique style.
