Parking at C. Burr Artz Public Library

Two hours of free parking are available to library patrons in the Carroll Creek parking deck, which is immediately west of the Library.

Carroll Creek Parking Deck (44 East Patrick Street), providing parking for the Frederick County Library, is fully automated. Visitors need to obtain a yellow ticket from the Library machine at the entrance to the deck. The ticket must be validated inside the Library in order to receive the two hours of free parking. After exiting the library, visitors should stop by the pay station on their way to their vehicles and insert the validated ticket in the pay station to receive a ticket to exit. If library patrons owe additional charges over their validated time, they need to insert cash or credit card in the pay station before receiving a ticket to exit the deck. They then will simply drive to any of three exit lanes and insert the ticket in the express park machine to exit the deck.
