Soolah Hoops

Come join Soolah as she shares the joys of hula hooping! Kids will be entertained with a demonstration of hula hooping tricks with different kinds of hula hoops. Soolah will share her hoops, teaching kids how to hoop, how to do some tricks and play some games! Hoops will be provided! Please be sure your child is in comfortable clothing and has a water bottle to stay hydrated! Best for grades K-8.

The Great Stuffed Animal Sleepover

We love sleepovers! Why shouldn't our stuffed animals have that kind of fun, too? Bring your favorite stuffed animal to the library for our program! Then leave your stuffed animal to spend the night at the library...pick up your animal on Saturday morning and let's see what exciting adventures they had while the library was closed!

Civil War Life - 150th Anniversary of Ransom of Middletown

Learn how the common soldier was equipped, what personal belongings he carried and what types of food he ate. What kinds of games did children play and what was fun for kids at that time? Join Donna Croft and Ralph Powell in Middletown at the Lamar House as Middletown commemorates the 150th anniversary of Jubal Early’s Ransom of Middletown. (Ages 6 and up)
