Green Thumb Family Gardening Club

Age Group: 
An Emmitsburg Community Garden and Library Project, this club is intended for families with kids ages 4 and up who want to learn about growing food in a community garden. Everyone will get to plant, water and weed as well as make garden crafts, hear stories at the garden and much more. Visits to the garden are part of every meeting.

Club dates are:
April 5 – Growing Fun in the Garden: Planning and planting starter plants and plus our first visit the see the garden.

Owls in Art, Owls in Nature

R.E.A.D. dogs are registered therapy animals who volunteer with their owner/handlers as a team, going to schools, libraries and many other settings as reading companions for children. Allergy alert: the dogs are live animals.
