The Thurmont Center for Agricultural History and The Maryland Room are proud to introduce a new film by award-winning filmaker, Chris Haugh. Over the last ten years, Mr. Haugh researched archives and interviewed local citizens sharing memories and stories about the significant manifestations of the town since its founding in 1751. Mr. Haugh recently won a local Emmy for the film Heart of the Civil War. He will share portions of the 3 hour documentary, share stories of the people he met during the filming as well as answer questions about the project.
