This adult fiber arts meetup is being arranged as a community service through the Friends of the Thurmont Regional Library. Do you knit, crochet, embroider, or some other fiber-art craft? Join us on the first Thursday of each month to hang out with other crafty people. No need to sign up - just drop in with your own project and supplies.

Book Lovers Trivia Night

Adult book lovers: join your hosts: FCPL, Brainstorm Comics, and Curious Iguana Bookstore, to test your knowledge in a fun-filled evening of book-themed trivia, featuring everything from literary classics to graphic novels and contemporary bestsellers.

Play solo or sign up as a team, with up to four members.

Refreshments generously donated by MOM's Organic Market.

Sign-ups begin at 5:00. Game begins at 5:30.

Computer Basics - Summer Series

Three-session series with Computer Volunteer Mike Mathis. Sessions will feature computer labs to learn specific basic computer functions with step-by-step instructions. Includes information about using personal or library computers. There will be opportunities to ask questions. Attendance at all three sessions strongly encouraged. •How do companies support nonprofit organizations?
•How can I match my organization's needs with the interests of a corporation?
•How can I make the most effective use of Foundation Center resources to locate corporate funders?
