Working in Children’s Services is such a delight! In this cheerful atmosphere of, color, music, and art, the gift of getting to be silly with lively toddlers and pre-schoolers during Storytimes, while also giving a brief respite to very busy parents, turns work into fun. In this creative world, I utilize my training and experience as a visual artist but temper that with practical skills earned from teaching art, being a Girl Scout Leader, a teen Church school teacher and, somewhat appropriate in this job—just being a Mom.
