Friends of the Library: Brunswick Branch

Friends of the Library Brunswick Branch was formed in the spring of 2004 to support and assist the mission of the Brunswick Branch Library. As the library nears completion of its planned expansion in Spring, 2011, the Friends group will raise money for special projects specifically for Brunswick, and will work to create awareness and appreciation of library services in the community. Why Should You Join Friends of the Library?

Local libraries are a community’s greatest free asset. A world of opportunity for young and old alike is waiting just through the front doors of the library. Your support is vital to the library’s growth and success. It’s about more than just good books!

Expansion of Brunswick Branch Library:

The New Brunswick Community Library will feature a public meeting room, a children’s room, teen zone, adult reading room, two quiet study rooms, and more computer terminals with broadband internet connection. All collections will be expanded as well. While state and county funds are being used to construct the expansion and fund operations, the Friends will work to raise money for special projects and enhancements specifically for the Brunswick Branch.

Why Do We Need Friends of the Library?
