STEM Lab - Fall Hours

If you haven’t had a chance to visit the STEM Lab at the C. Burr Artz Public Library this summer we encourage you to join us for one of our many STEMtastic programs this fall. In addition to the wonderful programs and events we have scheduled, the STEM Lab’s Open Hours for Drop-In Play will be expanded and held twice a week beginning on September 8th.

Starting in September the STEM Lab will be open on Monday and Thursday afternoons from 3pm to 5pm for drop-in play for kids from preschool to 18 years old. Each week will feature different equipment, experiments, and suggested activities. Drop In-Play sessions are open to 15 participants at a time on a first-come, first-serve basis with 30 minutes to explore, play, and create.

The STEM Lab is home to a variety of equipment that children and teens can use to explore the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math:

  • 3D Printer
  • Snap Circuits
  • iPad Minis
  • Microscopes
  • Drone
  • LEGO® Mindstorms
  • Goldieblox
  • Plasma Ball
  • 3Doodler 3D Pen
  • ...and more!
